So, November. The penultimate month of this year. It was an extremely busy month at the office and JGIS. My brain is fried from all dimensions of the daily grind. Some weekends felt like weekdays yet it’s no big deal, at least I’m learning something new every day.
Looking at the bright side of this annus horribilis, there’s one more month to endure before we bid good riddance.
Say hello to the holidays szn! This coming December will be 100% different from years past due to present circumstance but that shouldn’t hinder us from making it a happy memory in a year full of downs.
Also, don’t you love it when people come up and tell you’re a joy to work with? I’ll elaborate more on this soon.
Outside of a few selfies (from home and some dining places), this could be my first real solo snap from outdoors since lockdowns happened. There was a mural we came across right after our Sunday family lunch at Suntec City; so along came the chance to get a share-worthy snap.
At long last, a brand new Facebook profile photo after almost a year and a half! So many things happened since the last time I changed it in June 2019. *ducks*
While we’re at it, raise your hand if you miss taking photos in front of an artsy backdrop anywhere in the world. 🙋🏻♀️
Let’s move on to another fascinating topic.
Allow me to insert my chef’s hat and talk about…cooking!
I would’ve rolled my eyes if you told me in March that I’d learn to cook something Tasty or Food Network. November 2020 ended with two successful recipes that are neither homemade mala, pasta, nor basic air-fried foods. It all started with the air-fried cauliflower mac and cheese, followed by the seafood quinoa paella. Watch out in the coming weeks as I’ll be writing up a post on my seafood quinoa paella recipe if you’re looking to spice up your kitchen skills!
Now before I go. It’s unbelievable that it took two years and the BFF’s recommendation for me to restart The Crown. Admittedly, the narrative’s pace was flat in the pilot. Subsequently, I realized things got riveting as the series progressed.
So far, so good!
